Age Is No Barrier

This lady teacher just graduated from the university. She was then 23 years old.

The boy was in form four and only 16 years of age.

The different of age is six years.

I was teaching the boy history and this lady teacher was teaching him mathematics .

Soon after completing school , he joined the army and was commissioned as a lieutenant.

They keep on contacting each other . He regarded her as his sister and she regarded him as his brother. Both their family know each other well.

He got engaged three times but broke off all the time.

One day while driving in the city with him, the lady teacher asked him “You listen here, you have already been engaged three times. There’s a lot of money to spent on those three occasions. What do you really want?”

“I am not in love with any of those women. I am in love with someone else for so long” said the boy, now a man.

“ OK , tell me who she is , so that we can go with your family to ask for her hand in marriage”

“ It’s YOU!” was the spontaneous answer.

On hearing that, she lost control of the car and “dum“. She hit the retaining wall of the road. Luckily , it was just a small dent but her shocked was really gigantic.

Six months later , I was invited and I went to their wedding.

Now they have four children. Two handsome boys and two lovely girls. She is now 53 years old and he is 48 years old. They both look about the same age.
