Two Boys

Story of two boys.

When they got into form sixth in my school, they were very sissy like.

I talked to them to get details and to counsel them.

Boy one –
He was the sixth child. His siblings are all boys. The mother had high hope that the sixth child will be boy, but unlucky for her, a boy was born. She was unhappy because she bought a lot of baby girl things.

She kept on dressing the boy with girl dresses, play with girls' toys and treated the boy just like a girl. But all the same , she loves him.

Boy two –
Had seven sisters. No boys. He behaved like a girl. Very soft spoken , very girlish .

Both were teased by the other boys in school and out of it.

I managed to get organised a trip to Taman Negara which was sponsored by a former student who was at that time was a manager of a bus company. The trip was for three nights and four days stay at the Taman Negara Park. The bus fare was free. PIBG sponsored the boat ride and camping area. Food was not for free. Every student had to pay RM15.00 for the food.

Four teachers and four former students were assigned to cook breakfast and lunch but dinner must be prepared by the students themselves.

Boy one: –
He went to Taman Negara, well prepared. He brought along four baju melayu to be worn at night. Everybody laughed at him because he brought a big bag of clothings as though he was going to stay in a big hotel for a month.

He was so scared of leeches (pacat) and keep on screaming. Canopy walkway was fun because he was just so scared to walk that everybody like to teased him by rocking the walkway. The way he jungle trekked was amazing. He swayed his hip like a model on the catwalk.

Boy two :–
He is soft but I can see his changes in character when in a formal. He liked the jungle very much. He was not scared of the leech. He joined a group of boys to go fishing. He was quite tough at that time.

What Happened Now:-

Boy one – He still have the girlish (lembut) character, but not in a drag kind of way but more of a soft man. After STPM (Malaysian Higher School Certificate ), he managed to work with one of the local banks. The company then transferred him to Singapore. He came to my house during one of the Hari Raya open house. He told me that he is going to San Francisco to work there. That was 15 years ago. He is now 35

I now heard that he got a boyfriend in San Francisco.

Boy two – He changed :– After leaving school he joined the group of people who liked the mountain and hills in Malaysia. He has climbed Mount Kinabalu (3 times), Mount Senyum, Mount Jerai, Mount Ledang …and many more. He’s a man now – a teacher. (He told me, I was the who inspired him to become a teacher because he liked the way I taught him before). Still a bachelor, “because I don’t have the time, if I have any free time I will go climbing or cycling and no wife would like that”

I have to agree and I am happy for both of them.

Each and everyman have their way of thinking and doing things. Right or wrong.... your guess...

I am sleepy, need to go to sleep.

Bye…Yawn …
